Hi everyone! I am currently a first-year Sports and Exercise Science student with a huge passion for the sport. I have played football from a young age and since moving to London in September, I have been coaching with Millwall Lionesses. I believe that my dedication and previous ambassador roles make me the best candidate.

As a former GB Taekwondo Talent Pathway athlete, I know how to thrive in a competitive environment, but also understand the need for keeping sports fun and accessible to all, I feel like my manifesto points reflect this:

  1. Increase – I will increase football participation both competitively and recreationally. I would do this by raising awareness for the team and by addressing any barriers that may be stopping people from joining.
  2. COVID – I will ensure a safe return to the sport and create a caring and comfortable environment in which all members feel ready to return. I will do this by holding meetings with the team and prospective players to discuss the systems we need to implement, for example, increased sanitation.
  3. Team bonding – I will increase team bonding activities to allow the team to get to know each other so we can work better as a team on and off the pitch. I know that due to COVID, first years like myself have not yet had the opportunity to bond with the current team.
