Asalaam alaikum,
I would love to stand as Vice Head Sister for the Islamic Society. It is the duty of every Muslim to work for their community and to be involved in Da’wah for Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. This position will enable me to be more involved in the Muslim community at university and help direct events and activities that cater to us as Muslims and help nurture strong, devoted personalities.
I have been part of the committee for the ISOC for the past year and have also run the Halaqas so have spoken and interacted with many of the Muslims attending LSBU and Alhamdullilah this enables me to have a clearer understanding of the needs of this community. As Vice Sister I will therefore be able to channel the many amazing ideas suggested and InshaAllah tailor events for all interested.
