This past year I have worked hard within the Islamic society committee to serve the Muslim population at LSBU through organising speaker events, socials and meet-ups.
For the sisters, I have enjoyed and benefitted from the conversations and discussions we have had in our weekly Halaqas and talks, organisng these has been incredible and insightful in many ways.
Working in the Islamic Society has been a privilege and I am excited to continue this work and to provide more opportunities and occasions for us to gather as a Muslim community and strengthen our Deen.
