Voting for the role of Lead Representative for the School of Nursing and Midwifery will take place below from 12pm on the 24th February 2026 to 4pm on the 27th February 2026.

 

 

Elections for the next SU President and School Lead Representatives 26-27

Applications open for the student leadership roles within the students’ union for the next academic year 2026/27 from the 9th of February until the 6th of March at 12pm. You can be paid to be the President or your Schools' next Lead Representative!

What roles are available?

Our student leadership roles give you an opportunity to develop your career, learning valuable skills and gaining unique experiences. If you are looking for a paid graduate role, part-time work alongside your studies, or a volunteering experience that will make you stand out, then you should consider applying for one of these roles.

PRESIDENT

Do you want to earn £28k+ working full-time for one year, either the year after you finish your studies or as an interrupted year? Do you want to be able to update your CV and LinkedIn to say you are a charity trustee, company director and university governor? Do you want to learn management and leadership skills? Do you want to be the lead voice representing 15,000 LSBU students on the issues that matter to them most? If so, the President role is for you.

LEAD REPRESENTATIVE (SCHOOL LEVEL)

Do you want a part-time job working alongside your studies next academic year? Do you want to learn how to network, deliver training and work with a range of stakeholders? Do you want to support the course reps in your school to represent students, share their views and help make the experience of studying at LSBU the best it can be? Then you should apply for the Lead Representative role for your school.
