#DoesYouGood
“Student life is better when you live active”
A joint-report from ukactive, British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), Precor and Scottish Student Sport (SSS), called the ‘British Active Students Survey’, has found that participating in physical activity, including sports participation and gym membership, improves student’s personal wellbeing, mental wellbeing, social inclusion, and academic attainment and employability.
Throughout March, the Students' Union and the Academy of Sport are offering active sessions you can get involved with, regardless of your prior ability. We hope that you find an activity that you enjoy doing and can wish to continue doing beyond this month.
This is a FREE event and takes place weekly. We will be doing the Burgess Park event, however, there are free events up and down the country that you can get involved in. Find one close to you here.
If you wish to get an official time for this event please register with ParkRun in advance and print your barcode prior to the day.
You can choose to run on your own or as part of a group. We will meet at the start of the event - next to the tennis courts at the Camberwell New Road/Walworth Road end of Burgess Park. Find more information on the event here.
