As the country prepares to come out of lockdown, we wanted to see how our LSBU students feel. We decided to run a survey via Instagram asking the following questions:

How do you feel about lockdown coming to an end?
According to a poll,  76% of students were excited about coming out of lockdown. In comparison to the 24% who were nervous.

What are you most looking forward to?

We found a range of different things students were looking forward to such as students excited to see their friends and classmates as well as many students excited to return to London. One student said they're excited to 'listen to live music again.'

What has been the biggest change in your life?

The time we’ve spent in lockdown has brought about a lot of changes in our lives. As a first-year student myself, I’ve barely been on campus! This was my first online learning experience! I’m glad it’s over but I’m also proud of myself for trying my best. I feel the same as the Social Work student who said the biggest change in his life was learning to look after his mental health.

What are your thoughts on all restrictions being lifted by June 21st?

A nursing student at LSBU, said “I am excited about all restrictions being lifted by June 21st. But I hope the public takes precautions and protects others.”
