SBSU Advice Service Update

Your SU provides a free, independent advice service that supports LSBU students with academic matters such as appeals, extenuating circumstances, fitness to practice, academic misconduct, disciplinaries and complaints.

We are currently experiencing high demand and unfortunately the waiting time for appointments is currently at least 2 weeks. We are prioritising urgent cases and where we are able to provide email advice, we will not be able to provide an appointment.

To get in touch with our Advice Service, please email hello@lsbsu.org. We will still aim to respond with email advice within 5 working days, and there are plenty of self-help resources on our website here: Academic (southbanksu.com)

We expect this delay to remain in place throughout October and early November but hope to resume normal service as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If you require any support for your Mental Health or Wellbeing, please refer to the below information:

The information for the university's Mental Health & Wellbeing Team can be found here: Student services | London South Bank University (lsbu.ac.uk)

The online emotional support programme, Togetherall, is available 24/7, even when the University is closed. It’s flexible and secure and can be accessed anywhere on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. You can sign up here with your lsbu.ac.uk email address: LSBU
