Black Students (ACS) Community

The Black Students Community (ACS) at London South Bank University is a community led by students, dedicated to celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures from across Africa and the Caribbean.

What we do:

Celebrating our cultures: The African and Caribbean community represents over 80 diverse countries, each with unique languages, foods, and music. We honour these cultures by coming together to appreciate both our commonalities and our differences, fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding.

Creating a community: Our dedicated team of volunteers work to organise monthly events, creating a welcoming space for members to connect, network, and form lasting friendships.

Supporting our students: University life can be challenging, especially when it comes to securing part-time jobs, internships, and mentorship opportunities. We are committed to offering support through our meetings and social media platforms, providing resources and guidance to help our community succeed academically and professionally.
