We are looking for a Student Communities and Events Manager to provide operational leadership of the Unions' community support and events programme. 

We believe that a student's background and life circumstances should not put them at an educational disadvantage, and all students deserve a high-quality University experience and the chance to graduate equipped with the tools to succeed in life. This role would suit someone who shares this vision.

The Union has been through a turnaround process and we are looking for we are looking for an enthusiastic and determined individual to lead staff in the Student Communities and Events team to develop strong communities and networks within the university, being responsible for the Union's legal and procedural compliance in activities and areas relating to student communities, and contribute to the Union's income generation strategy.

The right person to lead this work will not only be experienced in building and shaping communities but will also share our vision and believe they can have a transformative impact on the students they interact with. Through tailoring to individual needs, they will deliver a high-quality community support and events programme, and utilise partnership working to maximise opportunities for collaborative working and income generation. 

This is a full-time role up to 35,000 per year.
