At Southbank Student Union, we know how to put on a fun event. While our freshers and refreshers (book your tickets now!) are always packed with big parties we also love offering smaller, more chill academic events throughout the year to offer students a chance to network and connect with other like minded people. Meeting other students is crucial to a great University experience but can be daunting at first. No matter what year you’re in you might feel like you still haven't found your people. Don't worry, we've all been there, putting ourselves out there is scary. But that is what we are here for!
Our events, both academic and non academic, offer the perfect space for you to connect with other students. Today, we had a board game session which is always a lot of fun. Especially organised to welcome our CEG students, we created a laid-back environment for them to get to know each other and other students. What better way to break the ice than a few intense rounds of Jenga?
CEG stands for Cambridge Education Group. They not only help students with their next steps in their studies, offering support, mentorship and sponsorships but have also launched a set of online degrees in a Virtual Delivery Partnership with LSBU Global. This expands our global reach and offers international students the great opportunity to study a degree validated by LSBU worldwide. Students that are part of CEG get exclusive access to our academic events, like the board games session today, our student union membership, merch and many more.
We are proud to be collaborating with them to create even more opportunities for students and welcome them all with open arms here at London South Bank University.
