Women are allowed to fast during Ramadan, and many do so. However, there are some situations in which women are not required to fast. These include:

Menstruation: Women who are menstruating are not required to fast. They can make up the missed fasts at a later time when they are not menstruating.

Pregnancy: Pregnant women are not required to fast if they believe that it would harm their health or the health of their unborn child. They can make up the missed fasts at a later time when they are able to do so.

Breastfeeding: Women who are breastfeeding are not required to fast if they believe that it would harm their own health or the health of their child. They can make up the missed fasts at a later time when they are able to do so.

It is important to note that while women are not required to fast in these situations, they can still choose to fast if they feel that they are able to do so without harming their health. The decision to fast or not during Ramadan is a personal one and should be made with the guidance of a qualified religious scholar and a healthcare professional.

Hopefully these facts have given you more insight on women and fasting during the month of Ramadan.
