Paul Kelly is a Finance Director and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) with over 25 years’ experience helping organisations use their resources effectively and responsibly. Paul has worked across a wide range of sectors, supporting teams through change, strengthening financial controls, and ensuring money is spent where it makes the greatest difference.

Paul had the pleasure of studying at London South Bank University in the past and when asked if interested in joining the board of trustees of South Bank Students’ Union, he was more than happy to oblige and give back to an organisation that supported him in the past.

During Paul’s career in large organisations, he has sat on the graduate assessment board and mentoring team which he enjoyed immensely, working with ambitious, intelligent, and committed individuals and got great satisfaction watching and helping them progress in their career.

Alongside his professional career, Paul has led volunteer committees and community organisations, including captaining his local golf club through the challenges of covid. Paul values clear communication, collaboration, and practical problem-solving, and he enjoys supporting people who are passionate about making a positive impact in their community.

As a trustee, Paul brings a hands-on, supportive approach, offering financial insight, governance oversight, and encouragement to help the charity remain sustainable, well-run, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for those it serves.
