Carl is a mature student studying Therapeutic Radiography, his second degree after originally studying at the University of South Wales from 2012 to 2016. Alongside his studies, Carl volunteers for both Impulse London, where he supports operations and also Gaymers Inc.
Whilst studying at the University of South Wales, he formed that Universities LGBTQ+ society and subsequently became the LGBT officer in the SU, where he worked on making the student experience better for the LGBTQ+ community through different events and activities. He became a trustee as he strives to give every student a voice and believes that all aspects of higher education should be accessible, inclusive and transparent for all.
