Welcome to the LSBU's Islamic Society, one of the oldest and largest societies at LSBU containing a diverse mix of individuals from walks of life. At Islamic Society we aim to cater for the intellectual, social, and spiritual needs of Muslim students on campus, in addition to acting as their voice at university and union levels, with the aim of building a strong rapport with both parties and also educate students and lecturers teachings and principles of mainstream Islam.
The Islamic Society offers a wide range of core services and flagship events throughout the year, including maintaining the prayer and ablution spaces and organising weekly Friday prayers, in addition to our core services we also organise flagship events such as “Charity Week” and “Discover Islam Week” and providing plenty of opportunities for you to get involved.
The Islamic Society welcomes all students to share in our vision to promote a cohesive and inclusive University experience inspired by Islamic values. The LSBU Islamic Society is your society, so join us and start your journey.
